Yes, we now have bangs as of Saturday night. She still has a few really short pieces underneath, but I couldn't bear to cut her tresses to even everything out. Hopefully her long hair will hide the rest of the damage. This toddler lark was physically painful for me -- not her hair! But I went into crisis mode, got her to a salon, and everything turned out better than I thought. What's done is done, and we're all doing okay (sigh!). Case closed!

Oh my word! Not her beautiful hair. She still looks just as beautiful with bangs and your post was just adorable. I have to say I have threatened (yes, threatened) Vallie that if she ever takes scissors to her hair by herself she will be sorry. Aren't I just the worst.

Oooh... stinker. I have the no cut talk with AJ all the time. Who knew that Jake would be the first to try. I caught him right as he put the scizzors to his head. I think you should call the short pieces layers. :) I think the bangs are super chic though! :)

I know how you feel, but I love the bangs on her! She's such a doll anyway, but they frame her face nicely. :)
I don't mean to sound crazy but I just love when little girls do this! It shows such a fun and spunky little personality. I'm sure it's becuase I don't have a little girl to worry about cutting her hair but I think she looks darling with bangs.
