This weekend was especially rewarding. Not only did I listen to fabulous conference messages, but my mom graced us with her presence this weekend and gave us much-needed help. SHE CHANGED OUR LIVES!!!!!
Jer works these crazy long hours, and I haven't felt up to the chores of daily housekeeping. In my last pregnancy we hired housekeepers to come in and help, but we're not in a spendy mood this time around. As I saw the clutter grow more and more, I definitely became depressed, frustrated, and overwhelmed at my inability to accomplish anything. My mom changed all that. She and Jer whipped through the house this weekend, and now it's sparkling and shiny. She also cooked for us, and avoiding kitchen odors was a welcome relief for my stomach. She even made specific bland things for me and catered to my food cravings. I was able to rest, and things were getting done.
My symptoms are still ever-present, but I'm definitely a happier person. It's amazing what a clean, organized house will do! So thank you, Mom!! I won't be sappy and drone on and on about you, but you have NO idea what a difference you made. Yes, I'm 33 years-old, and I still need my mom. There, I said it. :)

Glad you have a squeaky-clean house! ... and we all still need our Mommies.
I am so happy you accepted a little help over the weekend! Although you want and think you can do it all - it's always nice when mom is around to help!
Yay! I'm so glad to hear you had a good weekend! Enjoy your sparkly house!
So glad your Mom came and helped you out. I am oober sad you arent feeling well.
Yeah for great moms! I'm so glad you was able to come and help and you got taken care of. Enjoy your clean house.
There is nothing like the love of a mom to give us all the comfort we need!
Your mom is soo awesome!! I am so glad that she could come and help you out! Hopefully your sickness won't last too much longer!!
i totally believe that! You know what always helps me feel better? A road trip to Utah. You should try it. Your house would stay clean while you were gone even...Problem solved!
I hate to break the news to you Lisa, but it was actually me who cleaned your house. Yeah, Sheri and I were there the whole time. Whenever you weren't looking we would dart around, cleaning as we went. Mom didn't do anything. Really. She just wants all the glory :)
DIDDO, DIDDO, DIDDO!!!! Love having my mom come save the day. It's crazy how sick some people can get during pregnancy! I finally am out of the clear.. Thank goodness! Do you know what you are having yet??
