Celebration!

And, no, I'm not touting the Lakers' victory. Boo!!

Instead, I would like to officially announce my symptom improvements -- life is worth living again! Instead of curling up in my bed, wishing for death, I am slowly regaining my Lisa self. I'm relieved and grateful . . . maybe I will make it through this pregnancy after all! :)

Since I'm finally able to hold down food, my weight gain has skyrocketed from nothing to too much in a matter of a couple of weeks. Goodness! No question about it -- I am pregnant and am looking the part!

In celebration of this moment, I would like to thank the following:

Family -- your unconditional love and support were astounding and undeserved. Especially Jer . . . how did you stay so patient with me? And, Mom, thanks for letting me vent over and over and over again!
Friends -- although I dropped off the face of the earth, you didn't abandon me. Your kind words of encouragement and concern were needed.
Tropical Smoothie Cafe -- on those rare occasions when I could hold something down, Blimey Limey hit the spot!
My Bed -- O, how I love your Tempur-Pedic softness!! We spent so many miserable hours together, but you were always there.
Multivitamins -- When I was nutritionally deficient, you provided much-needed folic acid for my embryo. Thanks for reducing the risk of neural tube defects!
And, lastly, and most importantly, baby #3 -- Your movement/kicks and adorable ultrasound pics reminded me of why I did this . . . you're certainly worth it!

Okay, okay, I'll end the silliness. I still have a ways to go to feel "normal," but all I wanted was improvement, and I got it! Now if I could only get the energy to clean the house. Baby steps, Lisa. Baby steps.

I am so glad you're feeling a little better! I miss your more regular posts, but I totally understand. :) Yay for baby #3. I hope you continue to feel better.

Yay! I meant to pull you aside yesterday and tell you how fantastic you look... but it was a busy day! You look so adorable! Little basketball in the front and skinny everywhere else. I'm already jealous. :)
Of course, I'm jealous of your ability to keep food down too.

I'm glad to hear the news. I can actually tell by hearing your voice. Maybe you Jayce to clean the house and you just supervise.

I'm really glad to hear things seem to be on the upswing. I noticed your baby bump Sunday too...it's a cute one, as baby bump's go. I've seen plenty so I'm a fairly good judge of these things. ;)

You definitely deserve to feel better. I hope it continues to improve for you!

YEAH!! I am so happy for you! I thought you felt better faster with Jayce than with Alyssa so since this is a boy, I hope you just keep on getting better!!
