Anyway, last Saturday we were able to ride the Boulder City Christmas Train with Jer's family. We had planned this for weeks and were anxiously waiting for the big day to arrive. Granted, it wasn't Polar Express (which I hear is fabulous), but the kids loved it anyway. Just the pure joy of seeing this great engineering feat was enough for them.

"We are a happy family!"

Of course, Santa's the coolest -- an added bonus. Alyssa was a bit wary, but I was impressed with her composure. She's just chillin', while Jayce is cautiously thrilled.

Here is Grandma Pike with Jayce's cousins, Eliza and Abbey.

Carson, also a cousin, loves his Grandpa Pike!

During the train ride the kids loved to gaze . . .

. . . And gaze

I love it! Those are some lucky kiddos!
Those last two pics are beautiful shots of the kids. What fun, next year maybe we will go for a ride on the Heber Creeper.
Super fun! Was it crazy crowded? We tried it last year and turned around and went home. Glad you had such a good time with Grandma and Grandpa!
How cool! I didn't even know they had a train in Boulder City! Ha!
So adorable! Can't wait to see you guys!
Looks like you guys had a fun time. You've got some great pics! I love how contemplative the kids look while staring out the window. Makes you wonder what is going through their minds.
