Why I've been MIA in the blogging world . . .

Quite a few of you already know -- but if you see me disheveled, if you come by and see my cluttered house, if I'm not as perky as usual . . . just know all is well! I'm experiencing the fun symptoms of pregnancy. The long-awaited due date: September 28.

I was going to hold off on the big reveal, but my symptoms were too much to explain away. Poor Jayce started to get a complex. He told me, "Mom, when I walk by you, you go and throw up. I think that means you're allergic to me." He was so worried that I wasn't getting better, so I finally told him the truth. Now that my four year-old knows, the secret is out! :)

Congrats! I'm thrilled. Sorry about the sickness, but hope it will dissipate sooner rather than later.

I have the same "ghostbuster" contraption hanging on my door, except that the only problem is that it keeps Sheri away. Lame! :)

Congratulations! That is so exciting! :) Sorry you're not feeling so well - and poor Jayce! But he sure is a perceptive little boy. I love how smart such little children really are!

Lisa, you poor thing. I'm sorry you get so sick! It sounds like you really have a rough time at the beginning--throwing up so much! I never threw up with mine---but I still sympathize. Being sick is so yucky! But, aside from all that, congratulations! I'm excited for you, and hope you start feeling better soon.

Congratulations Lisa!!! That is so exciting. You'll find that pregnancy in your 30's is tons different, and not in a good way. You'll pull through though. It's all worth it when they lay that brand new warm, fuzzy, baby in your arms!!!

Congratulations! May your sickness be short-lived and may your husband and children pitch in around the house! Amberlyn is right about pregnancy in your 30s - at least for me it has been different. You are in such great shape, you'll probably breeze right through it!
