Posing

My kids truly love each other, and I'm grateful that they *generally* get along.  But aim a camera their way, and they exude happiness and togetherness to the nth degree.  Come to think of it, I should always have the camera readily available for those moments of contention and strife -- pull out the camera and instantly pure bliss would abound.  Suddenly I'm feeling so sheepish.  Why haven't I been doing this all along?????

Brynn loves anything sharp and menacing -- she's wanting that pencil to do despicable things!

Alyssa's so grateful to have a sister.  She's already envisioning future shopping trips and princess visits at Disneyland with "just the girls!'

These two clash one minute and are best friends the next.  Alyssa abets Ty in his naughty ways.  She observes and encourages disasters without actually getting her hands dirty for complete deniability.  But I'm on to them --

Hamming it up.  Alyssa looks especially enthusiastic because she's starting kindergarten in the fall.  I'm not sure anyone, on this entire earth, is more excited to start school.  Already reading chapter books like Junie B Jones, she's anxious for a challenge that I fear kindergarten won't provide.

Jayce is handsome and getting so much older (sigh!).  His glasses add maturity as well.  He's stoked for his baptism in the fall.

Brynn discovering the dangling camera strap and can't resist approaching.  We comment on "Brynn's grins" all the time because she' such a happy little thing.  A mere three weeks ago she turned one, and I'd like to freeze her age and keep her small.

she is already one?! your family has grown so much since we last saw you. I am excited to get to meet the little ones and watch the kiddos all play together! If we make it your way again before the next reunion, we will make a point to stop by for sure!

Kids are the best! Their little personalities keep life so "interesting," and endlessly pacing forward! We have a baptism this summer, too! Sigh, really, when DID we get so old? :)
