As much as I'm excited about our pictures, I'm a bit nervous because that day was kind of a disaster. Tricia was wonderful . . . so patient and kind. The rest of us? Rather tense because the kids did not cooperate. In the park they spotted an inviting slide and tube swing and could not concentrate on the task at hand. They were teary, obstinate, grumpy, and Jer added to the drama by being grumpy back. So, when you receive your Christmas cards this year, the family you see is not reality. Behind the scenes, we were quite miserable (although just for that moment -- we tend to be a happy bunch). :) Thank you, Tricia, for being so great! She deserves an award. And despite her difficult family, the pictures will still be great.
.

I stole this pic off of Tricia's blog. In her narrative she writes, "Lisa, don't be mad but I LOVE this picture! I think it might be because this is how my life is right now, CRAZY! I just love how crazy the kids are and mom and dad are helping them out! Assure Jeremy there are plenty of "good" pictures but I think this is classic!"
.
I agree! I think that shot is hilarious and really depicts the essence of the Pikes. Life IS crazy, and a picture that says otherwise is a facade. :)

I love the pictures! Even the CRAZY one! It will be fun to see the one you choose for Christmas cards.
Wow, official photographer to the Pike Family! She should get a commemorative plaque! LOL
Those are some cute kids you have!
I LOVE the title! I LOVE being your offical photographer. I still love that picture of the crazy family. I wish it were my family actually. Thanks for letting me take pictures of your darling family and guess what, I'm just about done editing!
Great pictures. I too love the crazy one- it's real life.
Holli submitted a comment, and I accidentally deleted it. So, in honor of her, I'll relay what she wrote:
"Love it! That is a keeper for the Christmas card" (or something, to that effect). Sorry Holli!
