Here are the kids before Trunk-or-Treat on Thursday. Jer took them to get their costumes, and Alyssa selected Minnie Mouse, while Jayce chose a Transformer (much to my chagrin, but as long as he's happy . . . ). The night went well, but the weather was cold. You Utahns may mock Vegas cold, but for little Alyssa, the cooler temps caused major meltdowns.
Jayce kept trying to make these tough Transformer faces and poses. Funny.

This was taken before Trick-or-Treating at Town Square (an outdoor mall). Alyssa refused to be Minne twice, so she opted for her BYU cheerleader outfit. Sadly, the night was a bust. Jer just called me from his cell saying that he'll be in traffic for at least an hour (for a drive that should be 10 minutes). Most stores were out of the candy, and the crowds were so intense that no one had fun. Poor guys! No one Trick-or-Treats in the neighborhood, so we thought this woud be a good idea. WRONG!

I am here with you and glad its over too. (I didnt even give candy away last night.. boo to me. I had the "treats", but couldnt deal with it.) You at least had a good excuse. :) two actually... baby and appendix. Enjoy where you are at. Enjoy that little baby, and hope you feel better soon. Love A&J's costumes though.
I feel bad I missed the news about your appendix. I hope you're feeling better now. I'm sorry you had to go through all that with a new baby. The kids look adorable. I'll bet they had some fun even though you didn't. I love the Transformer faces!
